Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 17th, 2026
SIX Group ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage, on the "Site". This policy explains what they are, which ones we use, and how you can manage them. It should be read together with our privacy policy.
About cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and show us how it is used. Some are set by us ("first-party") and some by providers we use ("third-party"). Some last only until you close your browser ("session cookies"), others stay until they expire or you delete them ("persistent cookies"). The cookies we use are grouped into categories. Necessary cookies are always on. Everything else is loaded only if you agree to that category.
Necessary cookies
These are needed for the Site to work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in, protect forms and requests against fraud, support payments, and remember your cookie choices.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
sid | Us (first-party) | Keeps you signed in. Not readable by JavaScript. | 12 hours from last activity |
ctoken | Us (first-party) | Protects requests against cross-site request forgery. | 12 hours |
rsid | Us (first-party) | Remembers a trusted device so two-factor authentication is not asked for again. Set only if you choose "remember this device" at sign-in. | 30 days |
sidebar:state | Us (first-party) | Remembers whether you collapsed the navigation sidebar. Set when you click the control. | 7 days |
_GRECAPTCHA | Google (third-party) | reCAPTCHA. Tells human visitors from automated abuse on the sign-in, sign-up and contact forms. | 6 months |
__stripe_mid | Stripe (third-party) | Fraud prevention on payment pages. Set only on pages with a payment form. | 1 year |
__stripe_sid | Stripe (third-party) | Fraud prevention on payment pages, for the current session. | 30 minutes |
Functional cookies — your choice
These enable extra features. If you decline them, the features are not loaded and the rest of the Site works as normal.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
intercom-id-<app-id> | Intercom (third-party) | Identifies you to our in-product support messenger so a conversation can continue. | 9 months |
intercom-device-id-<app-id> | Intercom (third-party) | Identifies the device you are using the messenger from. | 9 months |
intercom-session-<app-id> | Intercom (third-party) | Keeps a support conversation open as you move between pages. | 1 week |
The support messenger also stores data in your browser's local storage, which is not a cookie but works in a similar way. It is loaded only for signed-in users, and only if you accept this category. If you withdraw your consent, the messenger is shut down straight away.
Targeting cookies — your choice
These show us which pages are used, let us measure our marketing, and let advertising you see elsewhere be more relevant. On this Site they cover web analytics as well as advertising, which is why analytics sits in this category rather than under Performance.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google (third-party) | Google Analytics. Distinguishes one visitor from another. | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Google (third-party) | Google Analytics. Keeps session state and remembers which campaign brought you here. | 2 years |
_gid | Google (third-party) | Google Analytics. Distinguishes visitors over a 24-hour period. | 24 hours |
_gcl_au | Google (third-party) | Google Ads conversion linker. Attributes a sign-up to an advertisement you clicked. | 90 days |
bsky_utm | Us (first-party) | Records the campaign parameters in the address you arrived with, so a later sign-up can be credited to it. Never overwritten once set. | When you close your browser |
| If you decline this category, none of the above is loaded. Google Tag Manager, which delivers these tags, is not loaded either. |
Categories we do not use
The consent banner may list two further categories. We set no cookies in either:
- Performance. Reserved for measuring how the Site itself performs, such as page load times. We use none today. Analytics is covered under Targeting.
- Social media. We embed no social network content, share buttons, or social advertising tags.
Managing your consent
The first time you visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept everything, reject everything optional, or open the settings and decide category by category. Necessary cookies are always on and cannot be turned off. To change your mind later, select Cookie Settings in the footer of any page. Your new choice takes effect immediately: anything you switch off stops running, and anything you switch on starts. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies through its own settings. That works, but it applies to more than this Site, and blocking necessary cookies will stop you signing in or using core features.
Providers
Some cookies are set by providers who handle the data under their own privacy and cookie policies:
| Provider | What it does | More information |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments and payment fraud prevention | stripe.com/privacy |
| Google (reCAPTCHA, Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) | Abuse protection, analytics, advertising measurement | policies.google.com/technologies/cookies |
| Intercom | In-product support messaging | intercom.com/legal/cookie-policy |
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the technologies we use change, or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
