EIU Country Operational Risk

EIU Country Operational Risk

EIU’s Operational Risk provides quarterly forward-looking intelligence and comparable risk ratings across 180 markets, helping organizations identify, assess and mitigate threats to their operations.

The dataset assesses 92 indicators across 10 risk categories, including security, political stability, government effectiveness, regulation, macroeconomic risk, labour markets, financial risk and infrastructure. Combining quantitative data with EIU’s independent expert assessments, it evaluates risks over a two-year forecast period rather than simply extrapolating current conditions. Its consistent methodology enables organizations to benchmark risk exposure across markets and incorporate comparable country-level intelligence into risk models, stress testing and strategic planning.

By identifying emerging vulnerabilities and potential sources of disruption, Operational Risk helps organizations strengthen resilience and make more informed decisions.
