The Real-Time Events Transcript API delivers live access to corporate earnings calls as they happen—transforming spoken management commentary into a continuous stream of structured, machine-readable events. Powered by AIERA and normalized through the viaNexus Edge platform, it lets applications consume earnings calls in real time, rather than waiting for post-event transcripts or static documents.

The API is event-centric and tightly integrated with the viaNexus earnings stack. Calls are first discovered through the Earnings Call Calendar, which provides the eventId and WebSocket URL for upcoming or live events. Clients then connect to the streaming endpoint with that eventId to receive a real-time flow of transcript messages reflecting the progression of the call.

The stream includes clear lifecycle signals—call start and end, speaker changes, partial transcript fragments, refined updates, and official or corrected transcripts. Every message follows a consistent schema with event identifiers, typed eventType values, timestamps, optional speaker attribution, and transcript text when applicable. This allows consumers to react immediately to provisional speech-to-text output while converging on higher-confidence revisions as they arrive.

By treating earnings calls as live data streams rather than documents, the API enables low-latency, event-driven workflows not possible with traditional products.
